MORTON ~ Anne Kay Watson, 77, of Morton, passed away at 5:05 a.m. Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Apostolic Christian Restmor in Morton.  She was formerly of Pekin.

Kay was born September 8, 1940 in Pekin to Lennie B. and Hazel Eleanor (Havens) Logsdon.  She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Florence Sego Stark and two brothers, Lyle Lee Logsdon and James William Logsdon.

Surviving are two sons, Terry Gene (Tina) Watson of Wichita, Kansas and Dennis Paul (Laura) Watson of Pekin; four grandchildren, Cody Watson, Kaycee Watson, both of Wichita, Dennis Watson, Jr. of Indianapolis, Indiana and Chelsea (Beau Cunningham) Watson of Pekin; two step-grandchildren, Angie Beutel and Steven Beutel; one great-grandchild, Tatum Cunningham; two sisters, Janet Sue (Ronald) Tardif of Niceville, Florida and Tina Dianne (Fred) Christ of Elmwood one brother, Ora Wilbur (Clara) Logsdon of Abington and many nieces and nephews.

Kay previously worked at Gordon’s Jewelry and Bergner’s, both in the former Pekin Mall.  She also had worked at Mauries in downtown Pekin.  She last worked as a bookkeeper at a jewelry store in Wichita, Kansas.

Private services will be held.  Cremation will be accorded by Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.

Kay appreciated and loved all of the Restmor staff, residents and their families, which felt like her own during her 20 year stay.  Many thanks also to OSF Hospice, especially to Pam.
