CREVE COEUR ~ Kristian Michelle Rora-Howe, 46, of Creve Coeur, passed away at 9:48 a.m. Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Sycamore, with her family by her side.  She had been ill with COPD for the last 5 years.

She was born April 22, 1970 in Peoria to Jim and Jackie (Purvis) Rora.

Kris is survived by her father, Jim Rora of Marquette Heights; her mother, Jackie Rora; two daughters, Kayla Fannon and Taylor Stasz; two grandchildren, Jaydyn Fannon and Jordan Birts-Randle; and one sister, Marni Rora, all of Creve Coeur.

Her grandparents preceded her in death.

Kris was a homemaker.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to concerts and family vacations.  She was an avid Chicago Cubs, Chicago Bears and Jeff Gordon fan.

Kris truly knew what it meant to have a good time.  She loved life and lived her life to the fullest.  Kris loved her family with all her heart.  Her daughters and her grandchildren were her world.  She will be remembered as a free spirit, who was loved by all, and never knew a stranger.  She was a friend to all and had a heart of gold.  She will truly be missed by all that knew her. We love you so much and we are glad that you are pain free now and no longer suffering.

Her memorial service will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2016 at Preston Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur. Pastor Robert Finley will officiate.  Visitation will be from 5 to 6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to a care fund for her children and grandchildren in care of the CEFCU Member Center in East Peoria.
