Jeleana J. Chrisman Obituary

CREVE COEUR ~ Jeleana Jo-An “Jean” Chrisman, 67, of Creve Coeur, passed away at 6 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2019 at her home.

Born May 7, 1951 in Peoria to Russell E. and Dolores (King) Clemens, she married Mitchell Chrisman on May 14, 1994 in Sunnyland.  He survives.

Also surviving are one son, John (Dawn) Clemens of Tucson, Arizona; two sisters, Valerie (Bill) Otto of Cuba, Peggy (Charles) Newell of Peoria; one brother, Roger (Patti) Clemens of Yates City and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, David Clemens.

Jean had owned and operated Headlines Beauty Salon in East Peoria for 27 years.

She was very family oriented and loved her family very much.  She had also enjoyed her work, sewing and travel.

A celebration of life gathering will be held from 1 until 5 p.m., Saturday May 25, 2019 at the Creve Coeur Community Center.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Creve Coeur.
