PEKIN ~ Donna Lynn March, 66, of Pekin, passed away at 8:12 p.m. Monday, July 31, 2017 at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Born July 22, 1951 in Pekin to Nelson Eugene and Margaret Mary (Valentine) Sea, she married James N. March on April 22, 2006 in Pekin.  He survives.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mandy Hull of Pekin and Andrea (David Sheetz) Hull of Peoria; one step-daughter, Amanda (Steve) Hargis of Washington; eight grandchildren, Kortney (Adam Hill) Hull, Karlie Magee, Kaleigh Magee, Dakota Magee, Kameron Sheetz, Koul “Trace” Sheetz, Kali Sheetz and Steele Parker; one great-granddaughter, Santanna Hill; four brothers, Dennis (Martha) Sea of Peoria, Daniel (Marsha) Sea of Melbourne, FL, David (Tracey) Sea of Douglas, Wyoming and Douglas (Laurel) Sea of Omaha, NE and three sisters, Deborah Wheatley, Diana (Randall) Roots and Dawn (Gregory) DePeugh, all of Pekin.  She also leaves a sister from another mother, Carla (Rick) Porter of Pekin, an aunt and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Dotti L. Van Nattan; one niece, Brandi Wheatley and one great-grandson, Braxton Hill.

Donna formerly worked at the Morton Travel Center and had served as an election judge in Tazewell County.  She will be remembered as a great cook and that she loved babysitting her grandchildren and helping to raise them.  She was a fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, enjoyed gardening and especially enjoyed going to play bingo.

Her graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 4, 2017 at Glendale Memorial Gardens in Pekin.  Pastor Cheryl Sherwood of Pekin First Church of the Nazarene will officiate.  A memorial visitation celebrating Donna’s life will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Friday at Preston-Hanley Funeral Homes & Crematory in Pekin.
